Plugins are cool, but adding them comes with a cost to page performance especially those that allow you to “retween” or share this on Twitter, Facebook or whatever. Choose well supported plugins that have a history of compatibility with WordPress upgrades. If a plugin is critical to your site, but does not work in a future version of WordPress, then your site can no longer grow and evolve.
Plugins for search engine optimization
All in One SEO Pack – adds robust search engine optimization (SEO) tools for your web site. If you use this plugin, Ashford disaables its SEO code (which is excellent compared to other themes).
