Support for tier-1 mobile devices
Here are what Ashford considers tier-1 phones:
- iPhone and iPod Touch
- Android
- BlackBerry OS 6 WebKit Browser
- WebOS
- Maemo (Nokia’s Linux touchscreen OS)
- Garmin Nuvifone
This DOES not include iPad because for most organizations making that fine a distinction between desktop and tablet is impractical. Ashford is iPad aware and does give developers CSS hooks for that device specifically. It does not have hooks for any Android tablets.
Ashford is tested on an iPhone, Android and iPad as well as all A-Grade browsers (not including Explorer 6).
