Ashford suppports adding eye-popping hero images to any page on your site. Use these large format images (e.g. 300px by 940px) on landing pages where you want to increase the number of conversions.
Many themes require you to use a custom field, but Ashford simply needs an image to be uploaded to the theme /images folder.
- Visit the page where you want to add a hero image
- View source and find the expected page name (e.g. hero_about_page.jpg)
- Create an image then save it following the naming convension
- Using an FTP client, upload the file to /images folder in your theme folder
Warning! this feature has server requirements
If you are using a release earlier that v0.6, this feature can cause some headaches depending on your web host.
