Requirements for Ashford v0.4

NEW release updated May 29, 2009 ~ Ashford is being used on this web site, your mileage may vary. This theme requires WordPress Version 2.6+. Some features also require that your web host run PHP 5.

Instructions

Please note that your milage may vary when upgrading as recent releases refactored HTML markup. So if you already to upgrade Ashford, download the latest release below, unzip and replace all your existing files in /wp-content/themes/ashford

1. Make sure that you are running WordPress 2.7 (learn how to upgrade)
2. Download and save Ashford WinZip file (ashford.zip)
3. Unzip the files it contains
4. Using an FTP client to access your host web server
5. Copy the entire ashford folder to the /wp-content/themes folder

Now you are ready to make Ashford your current or active theme.

1. Log in to the WordPress
2. Click the Design panel menu tab
3. From the Themes subpanel find Ashford in the Available Themes section
4. Click Ashford to make it your current them
5. If this was successful, you will see Ashford listed as your current theme
6. To view the new theme, click View Site at the top of the screen

On the home page, you will see a Welcome screen with a “what next” message. This screen will help you get started on your new web site.
