Requirements for Ashford v0.6.2

NEW release updated November 3, 2009 ~ Ashford is being used on this web site, your mileage may vary. This theme requires WordPress Version 2.8+. Some features also require that your web host run PHP 5.

Instructions

Upgrading?Please note that your milage may vary when upgrading as recent releases refactored HTML markup (e.g. corrected the spelling of a class name). First, make sure you save a local backup of your current production theme. Then download the latest release below, unzip, delete all your existing ashford files and folders and upload all the new release files and folders to /wp-content/themes/ashford. DO NOT deactivate your theme or your theme option settings will be lost.

1. Make sure that you are running WordPress 2.8 (learn how to upgrade)
2. Download and save Ashford WinZip file (ashford.zip)
3. Log in to the WordPress
4. Click the Appearance → Add New Themes → Upload
5. Upload ashford.zip
6. Click the Design panel menu tab
7. From the Themes subpanel find Ashford in the Available Themes section
8. Click Ashford to make it your current them
9. If this was successful, you will see Ashford listed as your current theme
10. To view the new theme, click View Site at the top of the screen

On the home page, you will see a Welcome screen with a “what next” message. This screen will help you get started on your new web site.
