You can now download the new release of Ashford, Pro, Axis and Aeon now. If you use the free version, follow the prompts from the Ashford page or if you are a Pro owner, the Google Group has all the download link information you need.

Ashford overlooked by Smashing Magazines list of free WordPress themes

I just read Smashing Magazines list of Free WordPress Themes: 2011 Edition (via @smashingmag) and see that Ashford was overlooked in the section listing free frameworks. I am a little bummed as they have generously selected Ashford as a high quality free theme and as a WordPress framework in previous roundups.

Looks like since June 30 there has been a problem with the free download link. It is now fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience. I will be contacting anyone who shared their email address since June 30 with the update.
